Aberdeen Drilling Consultants Summer Update

Aberdeen Drilling Consultants Ltd has been busy in recent months with the following projects:

  • Kan Tan IV project for Sinopec Star Petroleum at the Geelong shipyard in Australia has been completed, to the satisfaction of Sinopecstar and the engineers are on their way home.
  • Rig Condition Assessments (RCAs) for Transocean on the offshore rigs: Sedco 700, Sedco 712, Paul B Lloyd Jr and GSF Baltic have been successfully carried out over the past few months.
  • Ongoing work onshore and offshore Libya: Nationals and Internationals “raising the bar”, with Waha, Harouge, Zueitina, RWE to mention a few.
  • FAT’s for Jurong Shipyard, Singapore are continuing as the new equipment is made ready in Europe for shipping to Singapore.
  • Assistance to Maersk Drilling with their new builds is ongoing in Singapore.
